Golden rules to live by when searching for a work from home opportunity – Part 1

Published by twinendeavors at 6:52 pm under Work from Home Edit This

After visiting a number of WAH forums and doing a lot of research about WAH opportunities in general, I came up with two golden rules that I would follow in my quest to find that perfect opportunity.  Below is my golden rule #1.

Never, ever, apply for a WAH opportunity where they require a fee up front or upon hiring you.  I know when you’re desperate, spending $50 doesn’t sound so bad for the easy job of processing rebates from home, especially when they report that you can earn $200 per day.  But think logically for a minute.  When was the last time you submitted an application for a job, or went on a job interview, and before you even got started the guy says to you “that’ll be $50 please?”  Wouldn’t you be appalled?  Well applying for and interviewing for job on the internet is no different.  Bottom line…you should never pay for the right to work.  My golden rule is that if they require an upfront fee, they are a scam, and the best thing I can do is move on!
